Redesigning hospital funding: a systems-focused solution for patient functional equity - Student Think Tank Competition Winner
Abstract
What if hospital funding rewarded functional preservation as much as treating illness? My proposal explores how hospital funding reform could help prevent functional decline, improve well-being, and advance health equity, especially for patients most at risk of being left behind.
